Mission
The Len Mattiace Foundation is centered around the well-being, growth, and safety of our kids in our Northeast Florida community.
Through the game of golf and the Stop the Bullying Campaign we are able to positively affect thousands of kids close to home.
Our Stop the Bullying Campaign is at the forefront of our mission. In an effort to counter the violence that’s plaguing our Jacksonville youth communities, we partner with 50 Northeast Florida middle schools to create Stop the Bullying Campaign projects that contain kindness, compassion, and inclusion principles.
Thousands of dollars are awarded to the best projects by middle school students and every student is acknowledged by the Len Mattiace Foundation. The students and schools then get to share the projects making school environments better.
The First Tee Series
The Len Mattiace Foundation hosts a monthly golf event entitled “The First Tee Series” at country clubs across North Florida. This unique event matches local amateurs with local youth in a scramble format, with many of the youth coming directly from The First Tee of North Florida.
Impact
The Len Mattiace Foundation has raised over $680,000 for Jacksonville area charities and over $500,000 for The First Tee of North Florida.
